8 Arrested In Man's Slaying
Killing Apparently Stemmed From Neighborhood Feud

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Eight people, all younger than 25 years old, were arrested Thursday in connection with a man's shooting death, Sacramento police said.Jose Guerrero, 47, died at an area hospital after being shot in the head on May 26 in the 200 block of Lindley Drive.An investigation revealed that Guerrero had been involved in an ongoing neighborhood feud with several men, Sgt. Matt Young said.Police said the feud reached a boiling point when several men went to Guerrero's home and started a fight, during which he was shot.All eight men were booked into the Sacramento County Jail on homicide charges. They are:
- Jaime Torres, 23
- Hugo Torres, 19
- Sergio Torres, 19
- Juan Gonzales, 20
- Jose Gonzales, 21
- Noe Ortiz, 20
- Tony Armstrong, 24
- Mario Vargas, 21
